DC Shorts has always presented an array of awards. This year, we expanded our competitions to offer even more awards with incredible prizes of cash and products. You help to determine the Audience Awards by voting at the end of every screening from September 9–11.
Vote for Music
Music is as important to a film as great writing or beautiful camera work. That is why we are celebrating the music of film through a special contest. Listen to the songs in competition, and choose your favorite. The winning song will receive a wonderful prize package from Gibson Guitar.
From August 1–30, we sponsored an online vote to choose the Outstanding Original Song from 7 semi-finalists. The award will be announced at the Filmmaker Awards Brunch on Sunday, September 12, and will be posted on this page that day!
