A very special party at a very special location—the private Gibson Guitar showroom—frequented by rock stars and concert artists alike. This invitation-only event will commence at the conclusion of the 7:00 screening.
Between the Friday screenings, please join us for a cocktail gathering in the glorious courtyard of Poste Brasserie. The event will allow film enthusiasts to meet the visiting filmmakers in a relaxed atmosphere. Clips of the films will be projected onto the walls, and Omega Band, a local favorite and offical band of the festival, will perform live for the guests. This event is open to anyone with a valid ticket for a Friday screening.
DC Shorts hosts a delicious brunch at Clyde’s of Gallery Place to honor all of the filmmakers, hand out the awards to the competition winners, and give filmmakers and festival pass holders a the opportunity to talk with filmmakers as the opening weekend concludes. The brunch is open only to those with an All-Access Pass.
As part of our closing day, we are honored to showcase LunaFest: films by and for women. All of the ticket sales from these special screenings will benefit the Breast Cancer Fund and The Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Center for Human Rights. A special wine and cheese reception will be held in the theater at the beginning of the 7:00 and 10:00 shows. The LunaFest Reception is open to anyone with a valid LunaFest ticket and all pass holders.
