Opening Party

After the opening screening, please join us for a gathering on the roof deck of Carroll Square. The event will allow film enthusiasts to meet the visiting filmmakers in a relaxed atmosphere. Clips of the films will be projected onto the walls, and one of the bands selected from our contest in August will entertain! Awards Brunch

DC Shorts hosts a delicious brunch at Clyde’s of Gallery Place to honor all of the filmmakers, hand out the awards to the competition winners, and give filmmakers and festival pass holders a the opportunity to talk with filmmakers as the opening weekend concludes. The brunch is open only to filmmakers. Food and location generously provided by Clyde's of Gallery Place.
